- Day 1 Ashgabad
- Arrival in Ashgabad. Morning free. Afternoon city tour of the city and the Annau mosque. Overnight at hotel.
Ashgabat is the capital of Turkmenistan. This is a young city surrounded by the ruins of other ancient cities. The name, Ashgabat, is believed to derive from Persian meaning ??“ ???The City of Love??? Annau mosque includes two historical monuments: Anau Depe (4-3 millennium BC) and the Annau mosque (15th c AD). The Earthquake Memorial is dedicated to the victims of the 1948 earthquake.- Day 2 Ashgabad
- In Ashgabat Visit the Sunday Bazaar and Nisa fortress. Overnight at the hotel
The Sunday Bazaar is flooded with different goods from camels and sheep to amulets, antiques, carpets and jewelries. The site of Old Nisa, the 2nd century BC, includes the remains of the Parthian fortress. The fortress at Nisa was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.- Day 3 Mary
- Drive to Mary. Visit the Meane Baba Mausoleum and Mary Regional Museum Overnight at a hotel.
Mary is an oasis in the Karakum desert and is Turkmenistan??™s second largest city. The Meane Baba Mausoleum was built in the 11th century. This mausoleum was constructed over the grave of famous philosopher in Eastern literature Abu Said Makneyi. The Regional Museum contains artifacts from ancient Merv and Margiana.- Day 4 Merv
- Mary. Excursion to ???Ancient Merv???, to the Kyz Kala and Bola Kala monuments and the Mausoleum of Sultan Sanjar. Overnight at a hotel.
Merv is one of the most ancient towns in Central Asia and a territory on which many ancient states, from the Akhmenids to the Seljuks and the Timurids, rose and fell. Here you can observe the ancient architecture (4th ??“ 15th centuries AD) and the remnants of the streets, buildings and mosques.- Day 5 Turkmenabat
- Drive to Turkmenabat. Visit the ruins of the Amul Fortress Overnight at a hotel.
Turkmenabat is the third largest city of Turkmenistan and the centre of Lebap region The Middle Age fortress of Amul was a huge strong fortress close to Turkmenabat town.- Day 6 Ashgabad
- Fly to Ashgabad. Free time and then visit National Historical Museum. Overnight at the hotel.
The Museum of History contains exhibits from Neolithic tools to Turkmen??™s weapons and carpets. One of the highlights of the museum is a unique collection of ivory horns.- Day 7 Dashogus
- Fly to Dashogus. Visit Kune Urgench and Minaret of Kutlug Temur and Monument of Torebeg Hanum. Overnight at a hotel.
Kune-Urgench was the capital of ancient Khorezm, in whose territory the city of Dashogus is located. In the 8th century Khorzem was the largest independent Muslim state in Central Asia. Several historical sites and monuments are still preserved in the area. Minaret Kutlug Temur is a highest minaret in Central Asia.- Day 8 Dashoguz
- In Dashoguz Visit Carpet Factory, exploring the differences in making and styles of carpets. Overnight at a hotel.
When it comes to art and culture, carpet making is one of the major images of Turkmenistan. It is one of the oldest arts in the country and the whole region. It has not been established yet what came first - painted ceramics or carpets??¦- Day 9 Ashgabad
- Fly to Ashgabad. Free time on arrival. Visit Carpet Museum and Ensi gallery. Overnight at a hotel.
The Carpet museum has a large and impressive collection of antique carpets and also two first biggest carpets, made in Turkmenistan - 18 m by 11,5 m and 20 m by 13 m! The Ensi Gallery displays an excellent private collection of ancient Turkmen dress and jewelry from all over the country.- Day 10 Departure
